What is Magnetic Separator?

Magnetic separation is the process of separating material using magnets to attract magnetic materials. Magnetic separators are used in industry for this process. Magnetic separators, which are used for different purposes in many industries, are used to enrich minerals in the mining industry, while they are preferred in the ceramic industry to reduce iron contamination.

The working principle of almost all magnetic separators is the same; When the ferromagnetic material enters the magnetic field, it is separated from the non-magnetic material by being held. This process is useful for a few minerals, such as ferromagnetic (materials strongly affected by magnetic fields) and paramagnetic (less affected materials), but a wide variety of magnetic separators are used to separate magnetic materials.
